PEAR NAAN PIZZA WITH WHIPPED GOAT CHEESE

PEAR NAAN PIZZA WITH WHIPPED GOAT CHEESE

Are you ready for this? Here’s how to make your very own ridiculously delicious, vegetarian-friendly naan pizza with roasted pears, honey whipped goat cheese, fresh thyme, – and even more honey – naan pizza. Enjoy, y’all! I’ll be over here eating this naan pizza for the rest of the week.
Ingredients
1 bosc pear, peeled & thinly sliced
1/2 tablespoon butter
8 ounces chevre
1/4 cup sweet onion, chopped
1 teaspoon sugar
Dash of salt
3 tablespoons olive oil
15 sprigs fresh thyme
4 tablespoons honey
2 pieces of naan bread
Instructions
1. Sauté your onions in 1 tablespoon olive oil with sugar & salt over medium heat until browned.
2. Melt butter in a pan over medium-low heat, add pears & roast for 10 minutes, flipping once.
3. Add 3 sprigs of thyme to a small bowl with 2 tablespoons olive oil, let sit for at least 5 minutes.
4. Make your honey whipped chevre by mixing your chevre with 2 tablespoons honey & 5 sprigs of thyme.
5. Pre-heat your oven to 400 degrees.
6. Brush olive oil onto your naan then add & spread your honey whipped chevre.
7. Add onions & pear, bake for about 8 minutes.
8. Remove from oven. Top off with the rest of your thyme & 1 tablespoon of drizzled honey.
What do you typically like to make during the week? I like to switch things up as much as possible, and we always try at least one new recipe a week. What’s your current go-to easy weeknight recipe?

Reuben Pizza

Reuben Pizza

Ingredients
  1. 1 Pizza dough (homemade or store-bought dough ball)
  2. 1/2 c. Thousand Island dressing {or a tad bit more, if you'd like}
  3. 6 slices Swiss cheese
  4. 2 c. sauerkraut, well drained
  5. 1/2 lb. deli pastrami or corned beef, roughly chopped
  6. 2 tsp. caraway seeds (optional)
  7. shredded mozzarella

Directions
  • Roll pizza dough out to desired size; place on preheated pizza stone or baking sheet.
  • Spread a layer of Thousand Island dressing over the crust for sauce. Lay Swiss cheese slices over dressing, then top evenly with sauerkraut and pastrami. Sprinkle with caraway seeds (optional). Top with shredded mozzarella.
  • Bake at 425 degrees for about 20-25 minutes, or until crust is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly and beginning to get golden brown.
Enjoy!

Chicken Bacon Alfredo Pizza

Chicken Bacon Alfredo Pizza

ingredients:

  • 1 Pillsbury Pizza Crust (or your own homemade pizza crust or other brand of refrigerated pizza crust)
  • ¾ cup Alfredo sauce
  • 2 cooked chicken breasts, chopped
  • 5 strips bacon, cooked and chopped
  • ½ cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

directions:

  1. Prepare the pizza crust according to package directions. For the Pillsbury Pizza Crust I used, I greased a pizza pan and spread the dough to fit. Then I pre-baked for 8 minutes in a 400°F oven.
  2. Spread Alfredo sauce over pizza crust, leaving a gap around the edge.
  3. Evenly distribute onions, mushrooms, chicken and bacon over the sauce. Then top with mozzarella cheese.
  4. Bake an additional 7 to 10 minutes or until crust is golden and cheese is melted.
